PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING (One-on-One and Couples Training)

Personal Fitness Training is a GUARANTEED way to get in shape and to improve your fitness and vitality.  You will experience maximal results when training one-on-one with one of our highly qualified, experienced, and charming personal trainers in a comfortable and relaxed environment.  In the initial stages, we will assess your current fitness level and address your goals.  Based on our professional and personal experience, we've carefully hand-picked only the best and most effective exercises that provide a healthy balance between hard work and fun.  

Your success is our success therefore measurable results are guaranteed.  We will give you the tools to track your progress, and we will share our fitness secrets with you.  In return, we expect you to commit and to work!  Our role as your personal trainers is not only to coach you through your workouts, but to educate, to challenge, to listen, and to be a major source of motivation and encouragement.  If you are serious about improving your health and fitness, there is no better option than one-on-one training.  

Don't let injuries deter you from pursuing a fitness program.  Rehabilitation requires healing time, proper exercise techniques, and other factors such as chemistry, personality and comfort with your trainer.  If you are coming to us with an injury, we will work closely with you and your physiotherapist to ensure that you are receiving premium attention.  Our knowledgeable staff will customize a safe and effective fitness program designed to target your injured areas, and at the same time to get you in shape!  

What you can expect:  

We are not your typical health club.  We emphasize traditional bodyweight and strength training exercises.  Our private studio is equipped with minimal and basic equipment that has withstood the test of time.  No machines or fancy cardio equipment.  We want you to learn how to use your body.

Solid Foundation:  In the initial stages, we will assess your current fitness level and address your goals and concerns.  We will provide you with a solid foundation of movements that will be included in your training program.

Proper Technique:  You will not progress to the next stage of training until we are sure you can demonstrate proper technique.  We want you to perform these exercises safely and effectively.  Proper technique is the best way to avoid injury.  Trust us, learning proper technique is a workout on its own.  

Strength Training and Physical Conditioning:  In our professional and personal experience, a combination of weightlifting, physical conditioning, kettlebell training, and yoga-inspired stretching has been proven to reap the greatest benefits.  

  • Weightlifting:  The secret ingredient to improved strength and wellness.  Yes ladies, weightlifting!  Trust us you will not get big and bulky.  You will get strong and sexy.  Done properly, weightlifting will not only unleash your power but it will improve your flexibility and your overall body awareness.  Furthermore, it promotes fat loss and full body muscle development.
  • Physical Conditioning:  Think Cardio.  We will have you running, jumping, pushing, pulling, and pressing away calories.  This is a fantastic way to improve your overall cardiovascular & muscular endurance, agility, and balance.
  • Kettlebell Training:  Or as we like to call it, "The Broccoli of Fitness Training" because it truly is a miracle fitness tool.  Not only is it packed with essential fitness benefits that target strength, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance, but it also has the potential to promote injury rehabilitation.  Be prepared to sweat!
  • Stretching:  Extremely important yet often overlooked, any well-balanced fitness program includes diligent stretching to improve flexibility, body awareness, and to aid in recovery.  We don't want to turn you into a contortionist, but we do want to improve your range of motion and your posture.

Prices and Schedule

SEMI-PRIVATE FITNESS TRAINING

Sessions are limited to a maximum of 5 participants and each session is led by a qualified and experienced Personal Fitness Trainer.  The small sessions ensure that participants get personal attention and specific feedback on form, alignment and technique.  The supportive group environment motivates participants to work hard, to finish that last rep, and to do your personal best at every session. 

Prior to joining the Semi-Private Sessions you will be required to attend a minimum of two one-on-one private consultations.  This ensures that we can accurately assess your current fitness.  Be prepared to be challenged and have fun!   

Session times are limited to seven sessions per week (please see schedule).  Space is limited. 

If you enroll in the Semi-Private sessions your membership also includes our evening and weekend Bellyfit, Belly Dance, Kettlebell, and Bootcamp classes in which we strongly encourage you to participate.  It's good to try new things, and to challenge your body and your mind.  We have carefully designed all our classes to compliment each other so including them in your fitness program will only benefit your training and progress.
